The earth and the water belong to the gods;
People can’t own the land because it belongs to the Creator;
We can only be the caretakers of it while we are here;
It’s my responsibility to take care of the earth, the streams, the lakes and the ocean;
I must make sure they are kept clean and pure so they can fulfill their purpose;
The air is mine to protect, too;
Without clean air the trees will die and the gentle breezes will become a killer;
We don’t want to live in a dirty house, and we don’t want to live in a dirty world.
