Even though we don’t sometimes feel like it, we should reach out and care for our family members;
As we give of ourselves to other family members, we grow in caring, tolerance and understanding;
The healthiest families make deliberate decisions to invest time and energy in their relationships;
Recalling good memories of family experiences, reliving familiar traditions, and retelling family stories keep the family connected and its spirit alive;
Families should always try to work out their problems with each other rather than walking away from the problem;
Family members should never hold grudges but should reach out to one another with love and forgiveness;
Learn to say, “Will you forgive me? I really hurt you, and I’m sorry.”
The most wonderful gift we can give each other is to accentuate the positive;
Tell your family members you love them with your words, your looks, your touch, your attitude, and with your thoughtfulness.
